Medical Thermal Imaging Gaining Popularity for Ability to Detect Some Cancers and Diseases in Very Early Stages

“Many people ask us to perform an initial full body thermal imaging scan, then have the scan repeated annually to identify potential problem areas,” says Christopoulos.
One particular area of interest for women is breast scans. Christopoulos says mammograms normally detect cancer after the mass becomes large enough to be felt or seen. Thermography, however, allows for the budding cells to be seen. In many cases, thermography can see changes in the breast much earlier.
“The roads must be built before the city can be formed,” explains Christopoulos.
Christopoulos says thermography is popular for younger clients who have not reached the age to begin regular mammogram screenings, yet would like to see if they have any underlying areas of concern. Women who get regular mammograms are encouraged to continue doing so based on their doctor’s recommendations. Adding thermography to annual mammogram screenings can help detect cancers at the earliest possible stages.
